You’d be completely and utterly wrong; there’s plenty of Kiwis and Aussies on Oppo. To them (us) a RHD Holden is like a LHD Chev is to you; common as mud and about as exciting. Might be the only HQ flatbed ute, but even then I wouldn’t bet on it.

That Ute is the strangest mashup of GM styling. With that grille it’s got a 70 Camaro meets Vega with a bit of Nova tossed in for good measure vibe. The flatbed makes my mind wobble!

I pass by about 8:15 on foothill, it was there for awhile then gone since winter break, I wanted to stop to take pics to share here. Glad it’s still around, that thing is badass.

We have a lot of tools at our shop on campus, but its good to know we have your support. We testing day went pretty poorly today, so we’ve got alot of work ahead of us to fix last years car while simultaneously building this years car.

No, a gray mk4 Jetta. I think he did his FSAE stuff at another school, going for a master’s now. I’m happy to support, if I could have paid for Poly I’d have been in your position 15 years ago so I’m happy to offer all the encouragement I can. Are you continuing work on last year’s car as a contingency if this year’s doesn’t work out? Where do you test? The SJ State guys used to show up at Marina autocrosses for testing, but now the Santa Maria airport setup works pretty well.

We have a drive day for all our supporters and partners, had to postpone it longer than usual this year because of a few drivetrain problems. Today another drivetrain problem arose. Sprocket broke and chain smacked a hole in the block... Got 1 week to weld it back up. Yikes.
